TOPIC: Maestro Page marked in red

Maestro Page marked in red 1 year 3 months ago #247

Hi there!

Is there any way or script for deactivate a Maestro page (turn red back to green) on Out, without using the "Deactivate Scene" event.

In this case, I have a scene controlled by many pages, and if I use "Deactivate Scene" the graphics from all the other pages also disappear.

We were using an "auxiliar" page wich we Take by script. This page loads an empty scene on the same VSlot than the page we want to unmark from red. But we are looking for a more efficient solution.

Regards!

Hi,

First of all, using multiple pages to control a single scene in Maetro is not the best of ideas. You will be better off if you create a different scene for each function, and run it on a different Vslot. You can use signals to make one page communicate with each other.

The Red marker indicates that the scene associated to this page is on air (so, it is active). It will remain in RED until one of the following will happen: 1) the scene is deactivated (because something else was run on the same Vslot, or because the SceneDeactivate event was played) 2) the same scene was activated by a different item

Thank you Raul.

The reason I have one scene with two different pages is because the scene has de Logo and the Lower Third wich are dynamic between each other with many functions on 3Designer.

What I wanted to accomplish is to take out the lower third keeping the logo on air, but marking the lower third back to green once the Out track was played.
