TOPIC: Optimizing sets from Turbo Squid

Optimizing sets from Turbo Squid 2 years 5 months ago #51

Hello All,

I am trying to optimize objects to eliminate aliasing in this set

within 3Designer by adjusting the mapping properties to look like

, but having no luck. While importing the VRML to 3Designer from Blender, we did have a lot of errors

could the errors be holding us back?

Thanks in advance,

Chris

Dear Christopher,
importing from blender is not recommended by most designer 3d Studio max is very good ... for this set try to increase segments.

Hi Chris,

once you choose export for VRML (WRL) you have to add the folder textures as well.
meaning: G:\Projects\Name_of_your_Set\Textures\
once you copy this path and paste it in the field area (vrml window) it will be imported with the textures.

also something that I noticed is that you have space between the folders name - so no space are allowed.

please try it and let me know.
Thanks, Avi
